TRUSTECH

TRUSTECH is an NHS organisation that aims to improve healthcare through the development of innovative products and services.

TRUSTECH provides the North West NHS Innovation Service and works closely with NHS Trusts to assess the impact on patient care or efficiency of innovative technologies and services derived developed in the commercial sector.

TRUSTECH’s consultancy services are generously priced to offer an advantage to companies looking to sell their products into the NHS. Prices are available on request.

Services include:  NHS Market Intelligence: TRUSTECH can conduct initial secondary research and gather expert clinical opinion to help build your business case. Through their extensive database of NHS contacts, TRUSTECH can identify leading clinicians and key decision makers in any given subject area to take part in surveys and provide clinical observations.

NHS Focus Groups: TRUSTECH are able to arrange, host and facilitate focus groups of NHS experts to stimulate discussion around the potential impact and usability of a product.

NHS Clinical Evaluations: Would you like your innovation to be evaluated by NHS staff in an NHS hospital or primary care setting? TRUSTECH will project manage an objective clinical evaluation of your innovation, identifying a clinical team and guiding the project through ethical approval. About

Sci-Tech Daresbury is one of two National Science and Innovation Campuses established in 2006, (originally named as Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus).

In December 2010 a new joint-venture company was created to spearhead the longer-term development of the site. Partners in the JV company are the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), Halton Borough Council and Langtree, a property developer and investor. It changed its name to Sci-Tech Daresbury in July 2012.

Enterprise Zone

Enterprise Zones are specific areas where a combination of financial incentives and reduced planning restrictions will apply. The zones are designed to encourage the creation of new businesses and jobs, thereby helping to support both local and national growth.

It is believed that Enterprise Zones will give a real shot in the arm to the private sector in particular locations and that the benefits will also spread more widely to support key city-regions and other areas.

Sci-Tech Daresbury is home to a wide variety of science and technology businesses, ranging from small start-ups to strategic units of large multi-national corporations.
