Conveyor Networks has been based in Techspace Two at Sci-Tech Daresbury from October 2016. Since moving, staff numbers have increased and turnover has risen more than 30% to end 2017.

Founded in 2009, the business is a warehouse systems integrator supporting logistics, retail (including ecommerce), and fmcg businesses with system design and build as well as servicing and maintenance.  Their warehouse management software platform (imio) provides the ability to simplify operational complexity at each stage of warehouse management through real time data transfer, optimum process efficiency and modern software architecture.

Our core market of retail and ecommerce has a seasonal buying pattern and is increasingly compressing our opportunities into two quarters of the year, which in turn creates resource and cash flow challenges for us. The collaborative nature of Sci-Tech Daresbury and rapid connection to business expertise, funding and R&D support are opening doors to other sectors. It’s provided us with faster access to new opportunities and we are able to plan for sustainable growth, our horizons are much broader, we can offer solutions that incorporate innovative engineering design and in turn attract high calibre people to the business.
