In partnership with the Hartree Centre, the VEC combines in-house multi-disciplinary and partner expertise along with access to the latest technology infrastructure, such as High Performance Computing, to address industry challenges.
The work of the VEC explores a range of possibilities and valuable opportunities cross-sectors including aerospace, automotive, energy and health, working with a range of well-established businesses as well as up and coming SMEs. The VEC is also the leading partner within the part ERDF-funded project LCR 4.0, helping local manufacturing businesses and SMEs through support and advice in adopting 4.0 technologies into their business and processes.
